Just got back from seeing my local banker (NH), was talking about builders and housing.

He said he many builder's lines of credit are coming due for renewal (every 3-5yrs), and many banks are not qualifying the renewals. So credit lines of $50K are being called in and these builders are not able to come up with the cash.

It should get interesting as more of these credit lines get re-evaluated...

Centex LEN and others have repriced entire neighborhoods over night down $100,000. TOL claims not to be doing it. But I doubt it.

"Your Man" Andy Xie takes a swan dive (belly flop really) off the deep end ... praising greenspan for "price stability".

I may do a blog on this later.
