That's the point, I guess... wasn't a 'fact'. (More like an oldie but goodie, a well-know dodge: setting up a phony straw man argument, so that you can demolish it and say 'See? I was Right!') When the Prez says: "It is a mistake to believe there is no threat to the United States of America," Knowing that no one outside of an insane asylum could possibly think that there are 'no threats' that threaten America... it's just low grade demogogery. Next, some politician might as well say "It's a mistake to believe that there is no gravity", or "It's a mistake to believe that we don't need air". :-)
