"moneyless society with by each according to ablity to each according to their need. But thats hundreds of years off along with pacifism"

Sounds like the Pilgrims and the commies.

"Somewhere down the line our great, great grandkids will live in a world at peace and sans money"

About 5 years after TSHTF and the die-off ends. But no money? Only in a pure barter society. Almost every culture has some form of transferable wealth, whether it's salt or shells or arrowheads. You need some way to pay for goods and services besides barter. Like I'm gonna grow a truck load of wheat and haul it to the dentist in exchange for his services. "Yeah, doc, I just dumped 2 tons of wheat on your front lawn."

"Are you a socialist?"
It has its place. The best job I ever had was in socialized medicine. Most folks know the system as the VA. Exceptin' most of the time it seemed that the hospital part existed to support the bureaucratic side, rather than vice versa. But, I say the same thing about my current hospital. (And I must be right; the VP head nurse just forcibly bailed, rumors are the bean-counter at the top is on his way, too. The bureaucracy is falling. Boss Baby said us folks in Mendocino County had a lot to to learn. Guess he had more to learn than we did. Never figured out people would have been more impressed if he had gone solar instead of relandscaping and putting in new linoleum.)

Re: which along with religion is the root of all evil

Religion itself is not evil......it is when people warp the meaning into their own twisted ideology.

a world at peace and sans money which along with religion is the root of all evil. (g)

The scripture says that "the LOVE of money is the root of all evil". Huge, huge difference.....:)
