The NSA has voice-print analysis equipment which can determine identities of speakers. It is very difficult to duplicate a voice to the extent where the NSA and CIA couldn't tell. That said, it's possible OBL is dead and Zawahiri is running things. I have always considreed the two to be one and the same menace, and Zawahiri actually more dangerous because of his level of venomous hatred. So if OBL is dead and Zawahiri alive that's still a disgrace.
