Ted, I find it sad that you feel so much empathy for the Lebanese, but absolutely none for Israelis.

In this particular case, Israel deserves very little empathy. They used a relatively minor transgression to destroy a nation. At first, they did have the sympathy of the world.....over the past weeks more and more people are changing their position. One night of watching the bombing; the death and destruction......will do it.

I might be biased, but I'll freely admit that. You on the other hand are on the verge of allying with the anti-Semites of this world. All it takes is one "nuance" to push you over the edge.

I know you will have trouble deciphering my position because it will look 'gray' to you. However, it is a carefully crafted one that does not rely on any one leader's position but rather my own moral compass. In the end, like with Iraq, I think a lot more people will see my POV. My problem is I got to that POV too early just as I did with Iraq. Right now, there are only a few of us but those numbers will grow. One of the reasons is that unlike Iraq, there is a small number of influential Lebanese Americans like Zogby and Marlo Thomas who are making their opinions known and keeping the issue on the front burner.
