I wasn't really interested in banning you. Actually.

I don't think it matters that there is no Likud in US politics. There were those who said Kerry should run for some party or other in France- making fun (presumably) of his French connections. Not bigoted, imo- just funny. I think the same can be said of the Likud thing. It highlights the real fact that not everyone may perceive strong support for Israel to be in the US's best interests, and it does it in a funny way. There's nothing wrong with Likud- it's not like using the N word. I think you could read it that way. It may not have been written that way- I confess, I can't see in to the hearts of men (and I think i'm glad of that)- but I didn't read it to be bigoted, and I thought it was actually pretty funny. It could have been said about several other politicians who support Israel. I suppose if it was said about Joe just because he was Jewish, that would be bigoted, but I didn't read it that way, and I don't know that it was written that way.

Of course if we mean bigoted in terms of hewing strongly to one's own opinions, than everything is bigoted- but I assumed you didn't mean it that way.
