Another common misperception. Th Center thread is not made up of centrists, or even people who believe they are centrists. It tries to avoid the extremes and see if there is any common ground that will enable us to move forward, to identify those issues that polarize us so badly. The thread name, imo, was a mistake because it led people to believe that it represented some kind of moderate center POV and it's odd how once a perception takes root how difficult it is to change.
