Best Buy has now switched to "sold out" status for all mac laptops except the 17" Pro. They had some $1299 whites this morning, obviously those are gone, and the pros up until today were backordered. They usually switch to sold out when they don't want to fill backorders anymore. All we can really conclude from this is that the channel is pretty locked up and all Apples are selling incl the pros. bestbuy.com The traditional apple sellers compusa, amazon and JR seem to have all the stock locked up.

Hey Lizzie, I've got some old boxes if you need them - fashionable too, they have cow spots all over them. Also a box that housed one of the early large Apple flatscreens (makes a great pillow - still has the orginal padding!!) The poppy bubbly ship materials makes a great blanket - got tons of that. I'll take the box from my oversized Dell 690 for myself and park it across the street from you so we can throw paper airplanes at each other (with stock tips written on them of course) :-)
