Think in terms of dollars. Your $10K would be redeemed for $20K in cash. If the conversion PPS was still .01, then the number of common shares dropped back into the float would be 2M.

If the PPS was below .01, then the maximum that could be dropped back into the float is 2M common shares... since the OS cannot exceed the AS... by design. You are guaranteed 2 for 1 cash in this hypothesis.
