I'm not sure who you mean, or what has happened, but once you start a cycle of reaction and revenge it often becomes hard to stop, and very difficult to tell who is really most at fault. Where a person sees threats, and real illegality, I think one must call in authorities, in all other situations I think walking away, treating the matter lightly, or simply moving on is usually the best answer. But that's me, and that's just my opinion- not that you asked for it, and I hope you don't mind that I give it.
