Montana State University had nothing to do with students not showing up. hundreds of colleges have these programs. it was the men or women who used the excuse to take a program abroad to get into the united states. it could have been any college offering one of these programs.

i have a friend who takes in these students for periods of six weeks. her responsibility is to provide cold breakfast, and dinner and a bedroom. She takes in students from all over the world. they supposedly have all been screened by u.s. embassy and college prior to approval.

If I had a child going there, I'd be considering it, for sure!

On what basis?

Karen, I wouldn't fault the University for the failure of the students to show up.

What I want to know is what prompted 11 young Muslim men to go missing. What were they up to? Where were they and who did they meet with?

I don't buy it that this was just a silly frolic and detour on their part.
