It's clear that since Bush invaded Iraq, more and more attempts are being made over and over to hit the remaining coalition members. Some of these attempts are getting through, most of them are stopped. But they're not getting stopped by the military. Just as I said before, it is the police force, CIA, FBI and intelligence that is fighting and stopping terror here. If the military were doing something in the war on terror, then how come we have the Moslems more and more angry at us, and how come the police (&c.) are having to work harder and harder? No, the military isn't helping in the war on terror. All that talk about how we were fighting them in Iraq so that we wouldn't have to fight them in the US was malarky. If we didn't have to fight them in the US then how come US citizens can't take bottled war on airplane flights anymore. The intelligence reports said that the war in Iraq is making regress instead of progress in the war on terror. Everyone can see that the place is sinking into a civil war. Iran is so happy with what is going on there that those fancy antitank missiles that are taking out heavily armored Merkavas 2 and 3 at a time aren't being sent to destroy our much more lightly armored vehicles in Iraq. But with the results in Lebanon, we can probably expect to see the insurgents in Iraq insisting that Syria send some over. And the tactics that are being tested against the Israelis are probably going to soon begin to appear in Iraq just as the IEDs that showed up in Iraq then began appearing in the Gaza and Afghanistan. A great progressive won WWII in about the same time as the incompetent fascist has lost Iraq. Rightwing regressives are nothing but angry little children playing at being adults. That is abundantly clear today.

Y'all think that this is going to be won in some manner like WWII.. Unconditional Surrender.. hip-hip hurrah, bring the boys home... Excuse me. That's what you bozos are doing. Conventional military invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Who's doing that? How many times have I told you there is no WOT, it's a euphemism. Just like there is no War on Poverty and no War on Drugs. They make these things up because they sound good and they know that your memory is limited to three word phrases. You can't "win" any of them because there isn't any one that can surrender and end it.
