I went up there to that micro brewery beer place and a seafood place on spring hill drive a couple times - where is the good eating in that town? I went to an italian place there too - their veal parmesan was OK. What all is worth seeing there? I hear they are having a real hard time with drugs and hookers in that town.

Try County Line Grille just a few feet north of the US 19 & County Line Road intersection. Small place, good service and good food. The rest of the joints are pretty much the national boxes (Red Lobster, Chili's, Applebee's, Outback, etc)

As far as tourist sites.....not much. We have the Mermaids at Weeki-Wachee Springs that seem to have an international reputation. It's at the SR50 & US19 intersection. Spring Hill, though, is really just a retirement community that is also becoming a bedroom community for the Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater area.

As far as drugs and hookers.....news to me. I suppose any town has some of both but I haven't seen either in Spring Hill, so I would guess it is pretty low profile. There is nowhere in Spring Hill I would feel that I needed to be armed when I go for my walks at night, and I've never been propositioned while out for those walks either. I'd say that might be perhaps a result of my looks, but nobody's been around to just ignore me either. Pretty quiet town. Of course, I've only been here 19 years so the action might have happened before I got here.
