..we haven't seen that anywhere. I think that opinion exists because we see so much extreme* denunciations of everything the administration has done to counter terrorism - the Patriot Act, the SWIFT program, the NSA monitoring of international calls, detention of terrorists. Just what kind of strong vigorous policing and terror prevention are critics FOR? The type that erected a "wall" preventing intelligence and police officials from sharing information? The type that prevented Moussouai's laptop from being searched between his arrest on Aug 16 and Sept 11, 2001? The type that caused us to turn down Sudan's offer to give up bin Ladin in 1996? *By extreme I mean, claims that Bush is shredding the Constitution, we're losing all our rights, and so on.
