My insanity is a reaction to people telling me I should buy shiny metal so that when (not if - they are certain that is the future) the world financial system collapses I can eat and buy off thugs with guns - it is silly. The US gubbment may trade with other gubbments using GLD - but that does not mean that YOU - the lowly citizen will ever be able to go to mcdonalds and buy a cow with a shiny metal coin. Do not confuse yourself with them. You are not the government - you are one of the infinitely small cogs in the machine. What YOU can do and will be allowed to do is very different from what the gubbment can do - they have the military grade harware after all - what do you have? Al Capone thought he was the KING for a time too - but in time - he was shown who the real king was - hehe.
