I wonder why you think Dave's desire to have a moderator is related to you?

Just FYI, there have been people before you who had negative opinions about Apple. The thread has survived. In fact, a certain amount of rational skepticism is welcome, at least by me. That is not to say that your posts exhibit rationality, of course. ;-)

We reassign moderators all the time.

What I see here is a lot of off-topic dialog. Why would you think a new moderator would be a problem for you - unless you are posting excessively off-topic or not being civil?

Contrary, or as you put it, negative viewpoints should be welcome and should never represent a problem unless they violate the Terms of Use.
