I would be against a moderator. We are a community of long time posters. I don't think we really need a word cop. I am in favor of a moderator but share your concern that the board doesn't need a word cop. I started participating on this board because it seemed like a good mix of bullish and bearish opinion. While I haven't been around as long as many of the others on this board, the signal-to-noise seems to have dramatically dropped over the last couple of weeks due to some very lengthy OT threads, saturation bombing of the same message over and over, and some name calling which has crossed the line of harmless verbal jousting, IMO. I'm in favor of whatever gets everyone back to discussing AAPL.
