Before the gov'mints started yammering about this, I had no idea (and really didn't want to know) that simple household chemicals could be mixed together to create an explosive that could endanger something as large as a plane. Geez Loueeze. Of course, gov'mints the world over but most especially ours are continually working on bomb technology. How exactly do they suppose that mininukes, if developed, wouldn't eventually make their way into the world? We've been around for, what, maybe a few hundred thousand years? We may be the earth's 'flash in the pan' in a few hundred more.
