France is who we have to thank for the cease-fire agreement. Rice was not able to do it herself, none of the Middle Eastern countries trusted her. France had to couch for her and promise to send in peace-keepers. Now we finally have an end to this very ugly and unfortunate 23 days of carnage which may have done Israel no good at all. 2.5 billlion worth of damage to Lebanon too. Now if only Bush-Cheney had listened to France and 90's of the rest of world before they rushed into Iraq without a plan or any reliable intelligence.
