I do find fault with the left and anyone else who fails to now comprehend that there is no negotiation possible with Muslim fascists.

I concur.

But I also find fault with the tunnel-visioned warmongers, the hubristic, the angry "patriots," and those contorted by outsized fear on the other side.

And I find fault with the divisive and simplistic dichotomizers on both sides.

I guess that's enough for now...<g>

<Negotiating with Terrorists> Did anyone here see or hear about BBC's interview on their HardTalk segment?..while in Germany for 2 weeks, CNN and BBC were the only English speaking news stations that I had access to..

Aznar continues to believe, with much conviction, that you don't negotiate with terrorists..he also bluntly told the interviewer that Zapatero lied in the 2 days between the bombings and the election..and that he firmly believed that ETA helped in the 03/07 bombings(this was in response to the Q re: his blaming ETA during early aftermath)..and he's still with much conviction, supporting Bush's policy..the BBC interviewer expressed the usual BS righteous indignation, because this was 'hard talk.'

Thanks Karen and everyone here!..great to see ya'll and sharing..finally, anecdotally: I stayed at a 4**** hotel in Germany, in the state of Wiesbaden(huge former American military base city)..it's also a center for medicine and a goup of Kuwaiti, UAE families, Pakistan elite were staying for the summer to take care of their medical prob's...we watched the non-stop BBC coverage together in the lounge..it was quite uncomfortable at times for me..as telling my true opinion of it all was inappropriate..But I did manage to say that "this is an unconventional war"...'not like the older wars because the militaries are not facing and fighting eachother directly..instead all these civilians are dying on both sides."...of course he got it that I meant that Hizbollah was the guilty party..he had nothing to say except nodding his head..it also became crystal clear to me that ME moderns are doing nothing(relatively) to help the kids/women victims..but for sure, either by their silence or wallet, helping Hizbollah..and that women and children are disposable commodities to be used for the men's purposes..during war and peace times..
