Yup! And Slick had a Republican controlled Congress that actually put a lid on spending. That kept Slick's deficits down (yes Slick ran a deficit EVERY year). The other factor that reduced Slick's deficits was his decimating our intelligence agencies & slashing military spending, Of course that did wonders for national security & preventing terrorist attacks, didn't it? But hey! Besides that, lying about BJ's in the oval office & a dozen other highly questionable items, Slick wasn't all that bad. At least we don't have to make chit up, like "Bush lied!", do we?
