Re ETFs -- I think they beat the short mu funds -- especially the 2x variety.

I'd rather be able to enter and exit intraday. But I still own the 2x DOW inverse thing and haven't swapped that one yet for the ETF. Also have DOG, SDS and MZZ. Let's see if I can hold them this week and not get blown out of the water <g>
