I am anti-war too, but I subscribe to Winston Churchill's philosophies:

"You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor and you will have war."
Churchill's remark after Chamberlain returned from signing the Munich pact with Hitler.

and

"Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win
without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure
and not so costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to
fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for
survival. There may be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is
no chance of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as
slaves."

No, the problem exists with the "anti-war" folks putting words in others mouths. Have you EVER seen anyone say they are "pro-war"?????

I haven't.

Anti-war folks have LOTS of parades and protests telling us what they think, AND have LOTS of signs to let us know if we didn't already know.

The opposite of that is the people who SUPPORT their government, and if they wish to change the direction of their country, do it within the Rights we have been given through our Constitution and our Laws.

IF our Administration makes a decision to go to war, then we have to understand that the consequences have been thought out well in advance.

If you don't believe that, probably you should be knocking on your Senators and Representatives doors, asking for a full accounting of all the hundreds of thousands of people who work for the Government and who are charged with "war games" and "war preparation" and all the pro's and con's of the decisions.....in ALL directions.

Are you suggesting that EVERY person in the US Government is of one political party?

Or do you really think that the thousands of people who do work for the Government haven't been doing their jobs?

This problem exists for people who are not "anti war". Do they mean they are "pro-ALL-war" ???
