I'm hoping that the damage they've done will lead to improvements. I have always thought that we don't clean house enough, merely building up more bureaucracy on the ruins of the old bureaucracy - so maybe the tsunami that we call Mr. Bush will have done sufficient damage that we can rebuild our institutions better than they were before- because (perhaps) his administration will leave so much rotting underbrush in its wake, it will be obvious to all of us what needs to be cleaned up and rebuilt? Hey. It's possible. :-)
