If you watch only Fox News you remain ignorant of many things. On a recent trip Fox News was the only US network to watch so I watched it. I was stunned that there was no bad news from Iraq. There was no news of democratic advances in the US. There were no liberal perspectives besides Alan Colmes. Nothing about the environment, civil rights or peace movements. They had panels of experts, almost all of whom were confirmed rightwingers. So they didn't debate they agreed with each other. Yet rabble-rousing hate-spewing propagandists like Coulter and Malkin were given the primetime spotlight. Fox News is not just rightwing news only, it causes ignorance and misunderstandings. No wonder 50% of the country still believe Saddam had WMD. No wonder so many citizens have condoned the massive corruption in DC. One-sided propaganda breeds ignorance and is very dangerous to a strong democracy.
