Wreong. Big Oil is large UN-regulated, especially under Bush-Cheney, and the proof is the debacle in Alaska where BP has been making outrageous record profits yet failed to re-invest anywhere near enough money to keep their pipeline functional, despite the fact they were warned many times, and despite the fact that our economy depends on their house-keeping.

Since the entire economy depends so much on oil and gas, it's time we cracked down hard on all abusive energy companies who think they can get away with anything they want. They make their profits and extract energy on our lands at our pleasure because we let them. But they don't give anything back. They just exploit, cheat and gouge. And their dishonest PR ads on TV are sickening. Why don't they use the money they spend on those to help out the nation? These companies are real corporate Benedict Arnolds. Our government needs to start cracking some heads, and taxing some of those windfall profits.
