I'm wondering if you aren't related to Bob Brinker. Some of your thinking seems just as twisted on this subject. To say that the subscribers did not know that this was "model portfolio" money when Bob Brinker gave the EXACT percentage taken from them in January 2000, is beyond any logic. But it really doesn't matter what his subscribers did or did not understand. What matters is that Bob Brinker USED THE SAME MONEY TWICE when he rates his model portfolio PERFORMANCE. Hulbert knows it and IMO, dishonestly ignores it (even though, he has explained that it happened in a footnote--which is more than Bob Brinker does, incidentally). Hulbert basically says the same thing you did--Brinker said he didn't include it, so he gets a pass. How ridiculous it that?? Black is not black, it is in fact white--Brinker said so... Unreal!! Bob Brinker also knows it, but chooses to dishonestly ignore it and wait for it to go away!! This is not right, and I appreciate that you have at least acknowledged this fact. . .
