So even though both the Ha'aretz and JPost are whining about Israel's pitiful showing in this event, in reality these papers are cheering Israel as a victor!!!

They are both complaining because Israel didn't smash Hizbullah to pieces inside a week. Israeli armies are supposed to work military miracles.

As the smoke clears, we may get a sense of what actually happened. If some of the Lebanese dare to report it. Israel tells you right away, that's the difference.

Nadine is clearly delusional. Let's look at the results now...

Did Israel free their 2 captured soldiers that supposedly started all this? ANSWER: NO!

Did Israel disarm Hezbollah? ANSWER: NO!

Did Israel stop the Hezbollah rockets? ANSWER NO!

Did Israel lose numerous of their military hardware especially their supposedly indestructible tanks, commandos and IDF troops? ANSWER: YES THEY DID.

Absolutely NONE of their goals were accomplished. NONE! Only in Nadine's delusional mine the Israelis did not get militarily spunked especially considering the David and Goliath comparison here; Israel's 30,000 troops and the 4th "mightiest" military power against a few hundred fighters. Israel got spunked and got spunked badly. I expect many Israeli generals and Olmert himself to lose their jobs over this.
