No need to pass a cow....

No need for an increase in your daily flailing regime!

Re: I just heard Bill "pinhead" Press say that America is the big loser in the cease fire.....he wouldn't be a relative of yours would he?

Q - Who is that?

Attempt at an answer, (regardless of whoever 'pinhead' is): most sane people (including in our, and allied, governments) believe the recent play of events have done harm to American interests.

On FOX News today you can see the Hezbollah leader claiming 'victory' (yes, yes, I know: Hezbollah lost 5 or 10 times as many combattants easily as the Israelis did... So did the Viet Kong vs. our forces in the Vietnam War --- they lost every set piece battle, yet still came away with the prize in the end.)

Regardless of the losses, Hezbollah's *political* position in Lebanon appears to be much strengthened, (& their position in government strengthened), they face no shortage of new recruits, financial support from across the Islamic world is increasingly flowing to them, etc. --- while it appears that Omert's government (shaky without Sharon in any event) may not last the year out.

As far as direct American interests... the confluence of Iraqi and Lebanese events was rather harmful for us --- but EXTREMELY BENEFICIAL for the interests of IRAN.

I'd wager that Iran is looking like the only clear beneficial of recent events in the region.
