"Math spinning like a top says:"

"What a bunch of happy horsepucky. Math you cannot be serious."

"You are getting waaaay past silly..."

More evidence that you are running out of logical arguments.

"If you cannot supply a single example then how in the h*** do you can you claim that a subscriber should have been aware of Brinker's 'past practices' which we all know are subject to Brinker making up as he goes along!"..."

I don't claim that anyone "should have been aware" of his past practice relative to MODEL PORTFOLIOS. Anyone who was following a model portfolio may or may not have been aware of it.

I agree with your point about the unprecedented nature of the bulletin. That's why I said it would be reasonable if Hulbert included the loss between the receipt of the bulletin and the receipt of the November issue.

"You are getting waaaay past silly trying to claim that people having taken Brinker's advice to raise 'cash reserves' from model portfolios and buying QQQQs on this direct recommendation from the same goobers were somehow at fault. RIDICULOUS"

I don't say they're at fault. I said years ago that Brinker should have explicitly stated in the bulletin whether it was to be included in the model portfolios or not. That way, anyone who was following a model portfolio could have made an informed decision about whether to continue following it, or to follow the QQQ recommendation.

I noticed that he took my advice in the next bulletin, by explicitly stating how each model portfolio would be affected. Too bad he hasn't taken my advice against covering up the QQQ "trade."
