You're absolutely right..educate the mother and you have educated the children also...

Most well educated women realize what is involved in raising a child and the cost is extravagant, unless you're counting on the government.

The Bell Curve at work...but unfortunately, limiting intelligent babies..

The religious right treads on womens rights and wants them to go back to being baby making machines. That's Bush's base. This is one reason why the GOP is losing its female base. American women are waking up and seeing their men have been lying, cheating, stealing and running the good ship USA into the ground. The rightwing does not care about womens issues, from reproductive rights to daycare, none of it. They also don't care that much about kids, though they try to talk a good game.

The whole No Child Left Behind operation turned out to be a hoax. The truth recently came out that the test scores are all a fraud because they don't count the 2 million lowest scoring kids. This has been a deliberate deception from the beginning by the Texas Bushies, whose public education system actually ranks near the bottom in the US. It was all a big lie, as was "compassionate conservative", "environmental president", "humble foreign policy" and all the rest.
