since we were talking about idealists
not idealism

I think if you use idealism you get more of the philosophy- whereas if you look up idealist you get some flavor of how men manage to corrupt philosophy. It's a different emphasis, I think. But that's just my guess as to how to reconcile the difference in thrust.
