I'll stand by my statement.

Speaking of history, did you know that Israel wouldn't be a state if an honest vote had occured? At the last minute, pro-Zionists in this country impersonated Pres. Truman and persuaded several third world countries to change their votes.
It's mentioned in an oral interview with Edwin Wright and in Truman's own memoirs.
