You should pick your favorite problem and stick to that. There's no way to adequately deal with 6 or 7 unrelated items in a post. Since you didn't pick I will. A sample of the steel obtained PROVES thermate, which is military grade thermite (thermite with sulphur added), was present in large quantities. Thermate cuts through steel like a hot knife through butter. It would require large quantities, tons and tons of thermite placed directly on the beams. When ignited it would give off a blinding white light that would have shined throught he windows like a searchlight.
