The key to it all is that they were liberal thinkers and a revolution in the perception that man could manage the unmanageable, i.e. his affairs of money. Laplace would have approved. Popper too was a deteriminist who believed Heisenberg wrong and in his tome The Logic of Scientific Discovery.
