Elroy, maybe you could move your family over there and RALLY the people to throw out the thugs. No thanks! If we started having suicidal car bombers with unlimited munitions in the U.S. we would CEASE to exist as a society and NONE of us would start blaming "ourselves" because we weren't "standing up" to the thugs. We'd be blaming the people that were supposed to be providing security. It's ridiculous and demeaning to the Iraqis to blame the mess they're in on anybody but this Administration and its LOUSY disinterested war planning. No, I think we would close down the borders, close down local munitions factories, and put regulations in place which resisted the bombings. I don't think the US would collapse on itself. But, we are already more organized to do that type of thing that the Iraqi government and security forces, so it isn't really a fair comparison.
