Sorry Wharf Rat.. I'm not getting your point? That the Jews were slaves in Egypt, or that the Torah seems to legitimize the concept of slavery? If that's the case, then my god.. we can just cast our gaze over to the Middle-East and Africa, where a thriving slave trade continues, although VERY COVERTLY (and generally with complicity of the parents who sell their children off for money to feed the rest of their family). But why don't we all just admit that at some point in our lives (unless born with the blessing of an abundant trust fund) we have been "wage slaves". Hawk
