I think they couldn't afford to ignore him given his wealth, prominence and investing track record. But I give them credit for making room for a dissenting POV in their editorial section, which is usually somewhere beyond knee-jerk rightwing. In fact, they often have interesting guest columnists to balance the predictable rhetoric from their in-house crew.
