Maurice got a lesson about prices, that they go up as well as down.

Bearish sentiment is a GOOD thing, but we must wait for the wet work to be done, and still be able to sleep through the ordeal.

I am feeling uncomfortable with just about everything except cash. I like cash. I still and always will like physical gold/platinum, regardless of price. Paper gold is another matter, meant for trading, and that is all it is.

I noticed that you posted on the Softbank thread. The Seeker here will inform you that I had an outsized position early in that counter, held it one year, via chips in Tokyo and Europe, and de-camped in the slash of time, to be able to view the carnage, and to be able to methodically exit the Internet era far better off, by realizing, intuitively, that chaos is a gift, crisis a partner, volatility friend, lonely path right way, and survive so as to fight another day.

My script done at end of 2002 achamchen.com calls for cash and gold at the juncture just before the final realization of immediate doom due to housing collapse. I sold my property in the golden state this past April after 18 year holding period. We are fast upon that time to cross the event horizon, to the eventually must, the triple waterfall planet-wide re-pricing.
