I think any Arab government knows exactly what I know and won't take any conclusions regarding their military chances from this. Certainly I think Bashar Al-Assad is way too sensible to do anything dumb like attack Israel. But it strengthens the impression of all non-state groups that they can get away with attacking Israel (and America too probably).
