Few yrs ago prior to Condi Rice's appointment as Secy of State, she, Laura Bush & Karen Hughes invited Oprah to join them for a trip to Afghanistan. The purpose was to encourage Muslim women to take a more forceful role in their communities and thereby help prevent their sons' & husbands' early demise. Oprah turned them down. Until then I was rather passive about Oprah, but always wondered why anyone found her show interesting. Since that time she's filed in my "dimwit limousine liberals" file. Karen & Condi proceded with their planned trip but it didn't draw much attention from the celebrity-worshipping msm.

Bad news: Bush's war on terror has been lost. And I just heard that on Fox News between Shep Smith and Bill Kristol. Hezbollah are celebrating. It's only a matter of how much bloodshed we can stand in Iraq. And Osama and his gang are still alive ann well.

Bush's entire approach to counter-terrorism has been dead wrong since Tora Bora when his people let Osama go. Or even earlier because he ignored the pre 9-11 warnings and let down his guard. Many are saying Bush-Cheney even intentionally let 9-11 happen.
