MALAYSIA PRODUCTION FACILITY IN OPERATION

Vancouver, British Columbia CANADA, August 15, 2006 /FSC/ - JER Envirotech International Corp. (TSX - VX: JER), is pleased to announce that its production facility located just outside of Kuala Lumpur in Kuala Langat, Malaysia has started operations.

The Company's production facility, a joint venture 51% owned by JER and 49% by Asia Pacific Microspheres Sdn Bhd ("APM") has completed the testing and is able to produce 4 feet by 8 feet panel boards using polypropylene and rice husk. Initial production tests have indicated production levels can be attained as expected.

"With our Malaysian operation producing, we are the first company to commercially produce 4 feet by 8 feet wood plastic composite panel boards," stated Mr. Ernie Calica, general manager and vice-president of Asian Operations of JER.
