It was fun running levels on the campus. You could look for girls while you weren't working. That was fall quarter. It wasn't too much fun transit surveying because by the time we got to that phase it was winter quarter. I kid you not, the icicles were standing out at right angles to the edge of the buildings. I think the current instruments combine GPS and laser technology, and take the adjustment phase out of the mix. Fifty years ago: That would make your service in Korea, right? You know what I'm talking about, on the icicles, I bet. Anyway, thank you for your service.
