You think that trade could occur without the tens of thousands of standards and arrangements that trade parties have agreed? No way. Unless countries agree to standards and standard approaches and standards of conduct, there would be trade all right, but it would be infinitely more limited than it si today, and we would all be poorer for it. Same goes for government in general. We could live without government. Many countries have no effectively functioning government. They spend a high percentage of their time killing each other or protecting themselves from being killed. By failing to see what in essence is the necessary global infrastructure for peace and security, you side with apes who have decided that their future lies in having the biggest club. That ape will die in this complex world. I will be sad, many won't be.
