I think it is most likely that GWB believes in the Rapture, since he is an Evangelical, and that this explains many of his actions and decisions that otherwise do not make sense. You "think" it is "likely" so it explains his actions. That's what I mean about analytical rigor lacking in public debate. The reason I am harping on this point is that the same tactic is used to bash your favorite liberal politicians seven days a week. Do you really want to uphold that standard?
