Do you know about the truthfulness of the 600 hizbolla deaths that are reported. I cant find verification one way or the other.

Hi Tim Fowler; Re "heavy casualties". I meant heavy relative to their progress and relative to the number of troops involved, and relative to the number of casualties that drove Israel out of Lebanon the previous time.

Like I said at the time, I was surprised that Israel never got around to making a full blown invasion. All those rockets should have got them going.

The amazing thing is that Israel had so many more reasons to fight hard this time than they had to fight hard the first time they went into Lebanon. It amazes me that they put up so little of a fight.
