"When did you ever before quote Kirk as a source?"

math responded:

<<Irrelevant, but if you really want to know, one example is that I have quoted him on his own performance figures numerous times.>>

--Right. It IS irrelevant.

<<I quoted Kirk in this case because he explained how he came up with that estimate, and it appeared to be an unbiased and reasonable estimate. That's probably why you disagree with it. 8)>>

--He disagrees with it because he WANTS to disagree with it! In many ways, he is like a young child. Obviously, you could not do better for a source than one who is on the opposite side of the debate.

Anyone in his right mind knows that kirk would have bent over backwards to be unfair to brinker. The very best one on our side could possibly expect would be an objective report. There is no chance he would slant his report in favor of brinker. Talk about common sense!

stockalot added:

<<"Kirk is wrong and you know it. Any dummy can see that.">>

math replied:

<<Thank you for the detailed and careful explanation of your opinion, LOL.>>

--LOL is right! At the risk of overusing stockalot's favorite word, it's OBVIOUS that he CAN'T refute kirk's work, so he simply used the tactic of declaring it to be wrong.
