No offense, but suppositions that we agree with are usually considered weighty and thoughtful while those we don't like are often dismissed as lightweight thinking. I think it's a dangerous game without firm nuggets that tie ideas to statements to policies to actions. IMHO, Bush's ME policy is distorted enough by the neocon transformation fantasy without trying to guess if Rapture is involved. I think a fair and educated conclusion about the latter says you are fitting a few fragments of "fact" to a framework of conclusions you wanted to draw in advance.
