Bush is not an idiot, just dishonest and incompetent (except at dirty politics, rewarding fat cats and cheerleading).

That said, there are thousands of people who are much more qualified to be president. Bush never was. He is largely a hollow suit propped up by myths, spin, stage-craft and phony claims. Like his whole No Child Left Behind program which turned out to be largely a scam.
