Are you paid by the word, counselor? :-) Honey, a whole lot more science and math went into those slipsticks than you even suspect. And a whole lot more into electronic calculators. That do the same jobs. The reason they're so much easier to use and you need to nothing of what goes on is because a bunch od engibeers made that way. Oh, BTW, I was sure you wouldn't know the answer. :-) Sheesh! You guys make something simple like multiplying 6 x 8 far more complicated than it needs to be:-) Maybe. But suppose its sin(2p + 8e)? A bridge your driving not falling down might depend on a calculation like that.
